There were rumors, but they were untrue. The 11^th edition of KAN Festival will be held in Kino Warszawa.

Every year, the cinema interior changes completely for the time of KAN Finals. Our designers say, that this years decorations will surprise even those who have seen every past edition of the Festival. To feed your curiosity, we will unveil just a tiny bit. If anyone has some used fluorescent lamps, or knows someone who does, please contact adrian.winnicki.

We are pleased to announce that hotel Scandic from Wrocław will sponsor an award for the winners of our Photography Contest Wrocław--Where Film Meets Film.

The award will be weekend break for two in the Scandinavian company hotel located in the centre of Gdańsk.

The organizers of this year's edition of the International Short Film Festival, czyli Inca Italia, decided to postpone the deadline for submissions till March 15.

8/13: 8 awards out of 13 nominees. With this score, Borys Lankosz and his Rewers came first in most of the categories, including, best film.

Wojciech Smarzowski (Dom zły / Dark House) and Xawery Żuławski (Wojna polsko-ruska / Snow White and Russian Red) were Lankosz's main competitors, but there can only be one winner. Although Smarzowski did outrun Lankosz in best director category, and was awarded the viewers' award, this was not enough for his Dom Zły to receive the main award of the festival.

Round one Film Battle at Łokietka 5, a clash between Wrocław's avantgarde filmmakers, looms closer!

DKF „GAG” invites all to Krótkometrażowe Podróże Filmowe (Short Film Journeys), a screening of short films in Ośrodek Kultury (Culture Centre) in Białystok, March 5.

We are heading East. Free of charge. For free riders, we have Ukrainian spirits! At our destination, we will be welcomed by young Ukrainian art. Awaiting the journeymen and women are also exhibitions, music, and short films.

RePeFeNe, a showcase of independent film held in Rybnik, is open for submissions for the 9th edition of the festival, which will take place in Rybink, on September 23-26. They are waiting for your submissions until August 14 2010.
