On Monday, February 1, the verdict of Szczyt Kultury, a poll for the best Lower Silesian animator of culture organized by g-punkt.pl, has been announced. CRK (Culture Reanimation Centre) came first, while Monika Czepielewska, long-time KAN director, was awarded an honourable second place.

Monika is a long-time organizer of KAN Festival. She has been the Festival Director from 2005 to 2009, and now is the Program Director of the Festival. Together with the KAN team, she gives the young artists an opportunity to reach a large audience. The Festival is for them a chance to meet new people, and often a pass to professional film-making.
