It's only a few days till KAN 2009 begins. Meanwhile, on April 17th, at 7.30 pm, at the DKF (Movie Discussion Club) 'Politechnika', there was a KAN Special Screening.

'Szok w Toku' ('Shock in Progress'), an amazing documentary directed by Beata Marciniak and Oliwia Olczyk was shown. Through interviews with talk show hosts, such as Jacek Żakowski, Piotr Najsztub, Alicja Resich-Modlińska, Kuba Wojewódzki, Mariusz Szczygieł, Szymon Majewski, it demystifies the world of television, shows the rules governing it, and invites the audience backstage.

It is a well done and thorough documentary, which lets the audience look more closely at the mechanisms of the "fourth power".
