KAN Special Screenings at Gumowa Różacommence! The first one will take place Wednesday, November 18th 2009 at 8:00 pm. We will show the best of KAN 2009, among others—the winner of the Documentary Film Competition, Paweł Wysoczański's documentary "W drodze" (“On the Road”), an amazing story of passion, perseverance, and the ability to find oneself under new circumstances (awards: Golden KANewka 2009 for a documentary film and the Viewer's KANewka 2009).

We will also show "Thinking When Speaking" - Anders Emblem's, film which mesmerized the audience with its beauty, warmth and its tragic element to the extent that it was awarded the Best Foreign Film KANewka 2009.

A parody of the Polish countryside, which Tomasz Jurkiewicz's feature, "Wesołych Świąt" ("Marry Christmas") is also on our Thursday play-list (award: Bronze KANewka 2009 in the Feature Film Competition).

We will also screen animations which have been highly appreciated by the audience at KAN 2009. "Ostatnia podróż Profesora Igreka" (“Professor Y Final Journey”), directed by Tomasz Pawlak spins a colorful yarn of a well known traveller, who embarks on his final journey (award: Golden KANewka 2009 in the Animated Film Competition).

The hero of Bradford Schmidt's "Welgunzer" whose tragic, convoluted travels in time will surely leave an imprint in the audience's memory.
